Created in 1986, The Beacon Council Foundation serves to promote the long-term success and prosperity of Miami-Dade County, its residents and businesses. Driving the development and implementation of our community-wide strategic plan, the Foundation supports research, marketing and educational efforts that encourage business investment and job creation in Miami-Dade. Committed to delivering equitable, inclusive solutions that provide pathways to economic prosperity for all, the Foundation champions strategic initiatives like Opportunity Miami and select marketing campaigns. Fostering increased growth in good times, The Beacon Council Foundation also provides relief services to local businesses large and small in times of crisis like hurricanes or the present coronavirus pandemic.
